For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "completion of the project" means delivery of the final edited files to the Client.

Payment is due in full upon completion of the project. The Client will not use or distribute any work until payment is made in full.

For project quotes exceeding $500 USD, a 50% upfront deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the project.

We accept ACH, Credit Cards, and Checks. We prefer ACH or Credit Card payments made via the payment link in your invoice.

We do not offer refunds for completed services or for deposits on large projects once work has begun.

If you cancel a project after work has started but before completion, a 40% cancellation fee will apply based on the total project cost (or hourly rate for hours worked if billed hourly). Upon cancellation, you are prohibited from using any drafts or work provided by Lurnid Media.

We reserve the right to refuse service for projects that promote hate or denigrate individuals or groups based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or any other discriminatory basis. We value equality, respect, and diversity and will not work on projects that undermine these values.

Up to two rounds of minor revisions are included in the quoted price. Minor revisions are typically small tweaks like text changes or minor color adjustments. Substantial revisions (e.g., major changes to the design, structure, or adding significant new content) may incur an additional fee or be billed hourly, as agreed upon.

Rush orders may be available and will incur a minimum fee of $40. The exact rush fee will depend on the project's size and complexity and will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.

Upon full payment, the client is granted a perpetual, royalty-free license to use the completed edited works for any purpose, indefinitely. However, if the project includes licensed music from Lurnid Media, the default music lease period is one year unless otherwise agreed.

Lurnid Media will keep client project files for 30 days after project completion. After this period, files will be archived. It is your responsibility to keep your own copies of completed project files. Retrieving files from archive after 30 days will incur a $40 retrieval fee.

You retain ownership of all content you provide to us for editing, including videos, audio, images, and other files.

Lurnid Media will keep client-provided content confidential and will not share it with any third party without your written permission.

By providing content, you guarantee that it is original and does not infringe on anyone else's intellectual property rights.

You are responsible for getting all necessary copyright permissions for any third-party content included in your project materials.

You are responsible for resolving any ownership disputes related to your content. Lurnid Media is not liable for such disputes.

You are recognized as the owner of the final edited work. Lurnid Media will ensure that any known and disclosed third-party content used in the editing process is appropriately credited.

In this section, "Licensor" refers to Lurnid Media, and "Licensee" refers to the Client. These terms only cover music used from the Lurnid Media Client Music Library, not any music used from third party stock music services, nor music provided by the Client. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our music for one project only.

The music license starts upon payment and lasts for 1 year, unless we agree to a different duration.

This music license is valid everywhere.

You may use the licensed music only for one project (e.g., film, video, commercial, multimedia project). You cannot use the music in other projects, or sell or distribute the music separately.

Lurnid Media retains all ownership rights to the music. You cannot claim ownership or register the music with ContentID services.

Projects using music provided by Lurnid Media must give visible credit as: "Music by Lurnid Media."

You pay a one-time fee for the music license. No additional royalties are required for using the music in your project.

You agree not to use any completed work from Lurnid Media to train machine learning algorithms without our written permission and a separate fee agreement.

Lurnid Media will not use your project materials for machine learning purposes without your express written permission and a separate fee agreement.

Any unauthorized use of our completed work or your materials for machine learning is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
